David Fields<\/h3>

The founding director of Effectus Learning, David has 25 years\u2019 experience in financial services education, and cut his teeth at the London Institute of Banking and Finance (LIBF), which promotes professionalism in the financial services industry through regulated qualifications and training. During his time at LIBF, David was head of banking and finance and managed the institute\u2019s corporate relationship team, dealing daily with the needs of banks and other financial services providers. He was also part of the team that launched CeMAP, the UK\u2019s benchmark mortgage qualification, and the introduction of e-assessment. David has also worked with Calibrand, the UK\u2019s biggest independent compliance consultancy, in developing and managing their regulatory qualification for financial planners. He has helped many major banks develop bespoke educational programmes and qualifications.<\/p>

This has included consultation services to Santander for 6 years, Business Coach with Aviva covering front and back office personnel for 2 years and a Learning and Development Consultant and Trainer with Norwich Union for 7 years.<\/p>

As a qualified and experienced Assessor and Internal Verifier Julie currently specialises in the Trailblazer Apprenticeships, specifically End-point Assessment. As a leading light in this new approach to learner accreditation and validation she oversees the development, implementation and maintenance of all aspects of the process.<\/p>

She has a reputation for consistently achieving results, providing a competent and seamless client experience which comes from creating great relationships, being a confident and skilled communicator, managing her time and targets well. Jill is a director-level people and change professional with particular expertise within the learning arena. She has an an in-depth understanding of developing and delivering business solutions and delivering major change programmes gained over the last 30 years. Until recently she was capability lead for one of the \u201cbig 4\u201d with responsibilities for providing learning and development solutions to the financial services sector. She has held numerous senior positions including at Board level within a risk and compliance consultancy firm.<\/p>

Jill has managed many large scale programmes including global change programmes managing numerous work-streams including training, HR, communications, employee, engagement, performance management and organisation design. She has delivered solutions to over 140,000 employees world-wide as well as leading smaller more complex engagements. She has also acted in senior advisory oversight roles including a role as the learning expert for a UK Regulator undergoing a major transformation.<\/p>

Maurita is an accomplished professional within the banking industry with many years experience and an excellent track record. She has always worked in the financial services industry, starting in 1993 with the Bank of Ireland in Belfast. In 1998 she started at the Chelsea Building Society as District Manager in Gloucestershire.<\/p>

Maurita specialises in LIBF CeMAP, DipMAP and DipFA, CII R01 – R06 and J01 and Calibrand Diploma training. Maurita loves working with people and her training style makes information intake and processing easier and faster, increases memory and thinking power, acknowledges human diversity and optimises the learning potential of trainees.<\/p>

Peter has been involved in the financial services industry for over 40 years. After working for 10 years within the training environment, mostly as sales training manager, Peter formed QuestionBank Management Ltd in July 1995. QuestionBank Management deals specifically with the design, development and management of training and assessment across the whole of the financial services industry, IT and telecommunications industry<\/p>

Peter is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Bankers and is a member of the, US based, National Organisation for Competency Assurance. He wrote many articles on subjects like assessment and measurement, treating customers fairly, training and regulation and has presented at national and international conferences on competence assessment and regulation in financial services.<\/p>

Peter is the UK\u2019s competence assessment expert on ISO\/TC222222 for Financial Planning. Peter was part of the steering group that formed the occupational standards for Generic Financial Advice, and the steering group that formed the occupational standards for Home Reversion Schemes. Peter is also the internal verifier for one of the examining bodies delivering RDR examinations.<\/p><\/div><\/div>

Norman is a specialist financial and insurance services trainer and supervisor with over 35 years of experience. He designed and wrote many different courses, as well as having been an item writer for a number of institutes; he has developed regulatory syllabi, examinations and apprenticeships.<\/p>

Experienced in sales, administration and regulation of individuals, personal and corporate pensions, general and life insurance, investments, mortgages, business protection, he has assisted many firms to overlay compliance requirements in a pragmatic and positive way. He is a qualified assessor, an associate member of the CII and of the Personal Financial Society having completed the Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning as well as being a Chartered Insurance Practitioner and has been a practising independent financial adviser, a registered insurance broker and compliance manager.<\/p><\/div><\/div>

Anthony graduated in Industrial Economics from the University of Nottingham in 1987. He completed his PGCE to become a state registered teacher in 1990. After several successful years teaching, he moved into financial services working firstly as a financial adviser and then as a financial services trainer. In 2002 he completed his MBA, gaining a distinction.<\/p>

Anthony has spent the last 12 years designing and delivering training courses for CeMAP, CeFA, CF1 to 6 and the CII Diploma and Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning. He has also taught on a number of other financial services training courses at diploma and degree level. He has delivered training and consultancy projects to a number of high profile banks, insurance companies, IFAs and mortgage brokerages. He has also worked with universities, training companies and examining bodies such as LIBF and the CII.<\/p>

Anthony has achieved excellent success rates across all his training courses. His industry experience as a financial adviser and being a qualified teacher enables him to bring the qualifications to life and explain how they are relevant to everyday practice.<\/p>

To improve his knowledge of teaching and learning Anthony is currently pursuing a PHD on learning theory within the financial services environment.<\/p><\/div><\/div>

Christine spent over twenty years as a Financial Services professional both within leading organisations and her own practice. During this time she began lecturing part-time in Adviser qualifications and in 2011 sold her business to work full-time in Training and Education.<\/p>

She has experience in design, delivery, accreditation and market growth\u00a0for a variety of academic and vocational qualifications.\u00a0Her financial services course portfolio includes CII qualifications at Certificate and Diploma level, IFS CeMap and Calibrand Diploma (by assessment). She has also worked as lead Trainer Assessor on a range of Providing Financial Services Apprenticeships.<\/p>

She has lectured and trained on behalf of organisations in Northern Ireland\/UK\u00a0across classroom, e-assessment and vocational delivery\u00a0to a diversity of students and Blue Chip companies. This includes Retail and Investment Banking, Retail, Insurance and Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) \u2013\u00a0Inbound and Outbound customer contact.\u00a0She has worked with companies such as\u00a0Asda, Citi, AXA, HML and First Source\u00a0as well as\u00a0professional practices.<\/p>
